Nilanchal PP (Polypropylene) Plastic Corrugated Interlayer Sheets

Plastic Interlayer Sheets also called Plastic Layer Pads, Plastic Divider Sheets etc.  re put between layers of glass bottles, metal cans, PET bottles, plastic jars when these beverage containers are stacked on pallets. Beverage industries use these plastic divider sheets to maximize the load capacity, and to save their storage / transportation cost.

Unlike the paper cardboard which loses its rigidity when absorbing the water, the plastic corrugated sheets are water and moist repellent, which allow the plastic divider sheets to be directly put into refrigerated storage houses and not to worry about the condensate water. The divider sheets also can be washed with water to reuse multiple times and it is non-toxic, odourless with the inert chemical property, and hence safe in contact with food.

Traditionally, the beverage industry used the wood board, paper cardboard, or the fiberboard to separate the bottle packages. But the wood board or fiberboard has the following drawbacks:

1. The fragments of wood or fiber may fall into the bottles and contaminate the beverage if not cleaned up completely.
2. The fugues and bacteria will grow because the wood or paper boards absorb water and moisture.
3. The wood board, paper cardboard, or fiberboard can only be used a few times and cannot be reused as much as plastic interlayer sheets. After usage, additional cost is needed to dispose the paper cardboard and fiberboard.
4. The wood board, paper cardboard, and the fiberboard are made of trees, thereby impacting the environment adversely. It increases the carbon-di-oxide emissions due to the consumption of timber resources.

Compared with the wood board, cardboard, and fiberboard, the plastic divider sheets have the following advantages:

• Washable for Reuse
• Resistant to bacteria and fungus
• Recyclable without disposal cost
