the condensation reaction between dimerized fatty acid or polymerized fatty acid and diamines is a simple
technique used to make polyamides. This helps to overcome the volatility, irritation potential and critical loading
issues of conventional amines. Polyamides offer ambient cure, low toxicity, good strength and flexibility, and long
pot life with great corrosion resistance. They impart high tensile and compression strength due to a high
percentage of hydrocarbon in their molecules. They give good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and also
exhibit superior blush resistance.
