Promoting the recovery of Humerus fractures, the Sarmiento brace compresses your surrounding muscles and soft tissues. Its cylinder-shape provides a stabilizing force equal in all directions (circumferential compression), which limits motion at the fracture site so it can heal correctly.
The distal Humerus articulates at the elbow to the radius and ulna in the forearm. The Humerus provides structural support to the arm and is an insertion point for many important muscles in the upper body, such as pectoralis major, latissimus dorsi, rotator cuff muscles, and more.
