POP Mimosags Powder, Color : Light Brown

Pop GS Powder is a mixture of mimosa medium bleach extract and wattle extract which is suitable to any kind of vegetable leather. It is excellent for pit-drum or drum tannage and also for the retannage of chrome leather.

Properties
Pop GS Powder is soluble in tap and hot water. It has the following characteristics for vegetable tannage :

• Efficient penetration. o Excellent yield.
• Good fixation.
• For retannage of chrome leather Pop GS Powder permits : o Bellies and flanks fillings.
• Better buffing properties. o To keep embossing effect. o Excellent polish effect.

Application
Pop GS Powder may be used alone or blended with other vegetable extracts. The following use is recommended :

• Based on limed weight
• 25-30% of Pop G8 Powder for vachetta tannage ( veg leather ) 0 40 - 45% of Pop G8 Powder for soles tannage.
• Based on shaved weight
• 0 5-15% of Pop GS Powder for chrome leather retannage.

Recommendation
During the leather production, there may be a risk of iron contamination. In order to prevent this, we suggest to use an iron-sequestering agent such as Pop DS Powder (0.2% on the reference weight), which may be added together with the first addition of tanning agents on the tanning or retaining processes.
Storage
Pop GS Powder maintains its characteristics unchanged if properly stored in dry premises protected from sunlight in closed bags.
Packing
Pop GS Powder is presented in a powder form, dedusted, and packed in a 25 kgs jute bag net weight.
