Microcontroller-based Gas leak detector for detecting Flammable Gas Hazards, Toxic Gas Hazards and Asphyxiant (Oxygen Deficiency) Hazards.

Gas Leak Protection From 4 Main Types of Hazards:

1.      Flammable Gas Hazards (Risk of Fire & Explosion)

o   e.g. Methane, Butane, Propane, Hydrogen (LEL), etc. 45+ types available

2.      Toxic Gas Hazards (Risk of Poisoning)

o   e.g. Carbon Monoxide, Chlorine, Phosgene, etc. 25+ types available

3.      Asphyxiant (Risk of Suffocation)

Application:

Environmental monitoring in the workplace atmosphere, Levels of concentration measurement of gases for Occupational Exposure Limit of health & safety of personnel. Oxygen deficiency of breathing air in closed vessels & confined places personal safety. It signals alarms at two levels - the Short Term (STEL) and Long Term (TWA) Exposure Limits. These limits are the responsibility of different bodies, so the precise level and definition of each varies.

·        Two Alarm levels, each with a flashing LED, pulsating beeps and vibration.

·        Alarm LED steady if silenced and off when below set-point limits.

·        Automatic shutdown if in absolute ‘Low battery’ condition.

·        Voltage power status viewable with early ‘Low Batt’ warning.

·        INST (Instantaneous), STEL, and TWA Readings are stored, and MIN, MAX, AVG, and PEAK values are viewable.

·        All parameters are set using keys on the front face.
