PORTABLE OMNIDIRECTIONAL LIGHT

The CALZONI Portable Omnidirectional Light is a light designed for aircraft and helicopter landing night operations to be used in severe conditions when standard equipment cannot be used. The light is useful for creating lighting systems for helipad or Minimum Operating Strips (MOS) airfields (see also POLS CALZONI brochure). Different configurations of light units are available with aeronautical colours and infrared (IR). Light units fulfil the runway (white), approach (white), threshold (green) and runway end lights (red). Each light uses lighting source high flux type) and dedicated lenses, as to increase the photometric characteristics and the life, reducing the power consumption and the maintenance costs against the traditional incandescent lamps. With the LED source the light becomes NVG compatible and with LED IR the light becomes conform for “covert” operations. Optional 3 steps dimmer is available to manage light intensity. Optional Wireless Remote Controller is available to manage onoff command from remote. Threshold End Portable lights can be supplied by rechargeable batteries and primary batteries. Lights are designed to be easily and quickly utilized also from not trained operators.
