　　5.character: it is white crystalline powder. It is deliquescent and tastes salty. Relative density is 1.570. Melting point is 292. Highly soluble in water, ethanol and carbinol, but insoluble in aether.
　　6.usage: it is used as buffering agent, neutralizer, preservative, color retention agentn(protect natural color of animals and plants).
　　7.packing: it is packed with polythene bag as inner layer and polywoven bag as the outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.
