The product is made of a variety of polymers and surfactants with good solubility in crude oil. It can improve the flow properties of crude oil under low temperature. It reduces the viscosity and pour point of crude oil. The product can increase transmission and reduce pressure loss in the pipelines. Increased pump efficiency may lead to reduced operational expenses and decreased fuel consumption. Pour point depressant (ppd) usually has two categories that one is surfactant and another is polymer.

dsp-601 is formed with ethylene-vinyl acetate esters copolymers with a phe-va code and soluble in benzene, xylene and diesel organic solvent etc. It's mainly used as ppd for the wax contained crude during the gathering, storage and transport. The freezing point reducing value of crude containing wax is changing with the hydrolysid degree rate rapidly. The wax (paraffin) dropping and removal performance is best at a 50% hydrolysid degree rate and this performance is affected by ester content in the eva raw material greatly.
