It is high tenacity PE monofilament yarn, it is inexpensiveesistant to water, rot, oils, gasoline and most chemicals. It is used to make sunshade net with high breaking strength and good knot strength. Polyethylene has similar properties to Polypropylene but with a slightly better UV resistance. The relative density is 0.97 and the melting point is about 165 deg C.
