Power Resistors

SOC Edge wound Resistors are designed and built to meet the most demanding mechanical and electrical requirements in the industry. They are constructed of flat stainless steel electrical alloy, wound on its edge to form a helical resistive element. The element is then mounted on solid porcelain cores. Welded terminals at both ends of the resistor provide the means of connection and terminations.
