We produce power electrical transformers of capacity up to 50 MVA, 3 Phase, up to 132 KV Class, ONAN/ONAF/OFAF/OFWF Cooling.     About Power Transformer:

    Power transformers are designed to be used for step-up and step down application in the transmission network of higher voltages like 400 kV, 200 kV, 110 kV, 66 kV, 33kV, etc. The transformers are generally rated 200MVA and above. The designing make the transformers 100% efficient in transmitting heavy load and high voltage i.e., higher than 33 KV. If compared to the size of the distribution transformers, these transformers are bigger and are used in transmission substation, generating station and application areas requiring high insulation level.
    As these transformers are designed for applications in Transmission Network, thus there is no direct connection with the consumers. Therefore, fluctuations in load are fewer. The transformer is fully loaded 24 hr’s a day, and therefore, throughout the day, Fe losses and Cu losses takes place. The specific Cu weight and Fe weight is very less. These transformers are designed to perform with full efficiency and the average load recorded is near to full load. As these are not dependant on time, so power is considered for the calculation of the efficiency.
    These transformers seek its application in the Distribution Network and thus, are directly connected to the consumer, resulting in high load fluctuations. Being fully loaded entire day, simultaneously iron losses takes place. But the Cu loss is only at the load cycle. The Fe weight and Cu weight is high, the average load in only 75% of full load. The designing of the transformer supports to ascertain maximum efficiency at 75% of full load. These are dependent on time for entire day and hence, the efficiency is calculated accordingly.
