Power Transformer

Power Transformer is used for isolation between the high voltages to low voltage. Power Transformer may be used for DC Power source, Regulated AC supply for continuous duty. Input may be 600,440,240 or 110V AC, rated up to 10KVA Secondary. The proper size or the VA rating of the Power Transformer is important. Power Transformer will be a determining factor in the life of the transformer, which ultimately will reflect on the proper operation of power devices that it supplies. The methods of selecting transformer VA ratings are applicable to 50 to 10000 VA Power Transformer.
