Precision Forgings

Precision forgings are metal components plastically deformed to a finished part shape, engineered and tolerance to require little, if any, subsequent machine processing to achieve final blueprint configuration. They are characterized by 0 and 1 degree draft angels, thin sections, close tolerances, small radii, and excellent surface condition. Precision forgings for aluminum and titanium often feature multiple parting lines, allowing horizontal, as well as vertical, projections while permitting optimum grain flow control.
