Application : PR, PRV, PRX & PRVX type Switches are uses for automatically start & stop motors of compressors and pressurised water plants.
Medium Temperature : They can withstand temperature of medium up to 100 c. (211 f) for Air and water.
Mounting on Compressor : The pressure switches are designed for fitting to the air receiver by means of the connection – (10)
Operating Principles : PR, PRV switches have a triple pole cut out, the position of which depends upon the pressure at pipe connection (10) and set pressure. Turning the regulating nut (6) towards (+) increases the cut out pressure, where as turning towards (-) reduces the cut out pressure cut in pressure is the difference between cut out pressure and differential turning regulating screw (2) towards (+) increases the differential (reduces cut in pressure) where as turning towards (-) reduces the differential (increase cut in pressure).
