Pressure Sand Filter

AlfacoolTM manufacture a wide range of industrial/commercial sand filters, which are used for removing suspended solids and turbidity. These filters have multiple layer of sand having different sizes and specific gravity, which makes them highly effective in removing suspended solids from water. The water filtration plant is extensively used to generate required operating pressure in it and the impure water is passed through pressure sand filter at a pressure of 2.5 kg/cm2 to 3.5 kg/cm2. This reduces the suspended solids that are present in the raw water and can remove up to 30 to 50 micron of suspended solids to less than 5 ppm. The filters should be washed on regular basis with raw water for about 15 to 20 minutes for long lasting performance. Our range of Pressure Sand Filters is also available in MS and FRP vessel with multiport valve / BFV. Apart from this, we further customize our range as per the specifications and requirements of our clients.
