400mm Prima Cast Iron Welding Electrode

Length of electrode is 400 mm for extended welding performance and reduced changeover. Designed for welding grey cast iron, malleable iron, and alloyed castings. Produces machinable weld deposits suitable for drilling, tapping, and grinding. Operates with both AC and DC (electrode positive) power sources. Offers smooth, stable arc with low spatter and minimal porosity. Ideal for cold welding or with light preheat depending on section thickness. Provides excellent crack resistance and metallurgical bonding. Recommended for maintenance of engine blocks, gearboxes, machinery bases, pump bodies, and casting defects. Supports flat and horizontal welding positions. Supplied in moisture-resistant packaging to ensure low hydrogen content and optimal storage life
