What is Probiotic Complex?
Probiotic bacteria, also called "good" bacteria inhabit the intestine and are essential elements of our natural defenses. They produce enzymes and B vitamins, protect from certain micro-organisms (such as Candida albicans), limit gas production and generally improve the immune defenses. Infections, bad dietary habits, alcohol, antibiotics and other drugs can all threaten our bacterial flora and irritate the intestinal mucous membrane.
Clinical studies conducted at major universities have demonstrated the benefits of probiotic bacteria supplement for intestinal health, including its effectiveness against colitis and diarrhea of various origins. How does  Probiotic Complex work?
Probiotic Complex contains four billion viable organisms of four different healthy strains par tablet:
Lactobacillus Acidophilus (80%): L. acidophilus is the most commonly used probiotic, or "friendly" bacteria. Such healthy bacteria inhabit the intestines and vagina and protect against the entrance and proliferation of "bad" organisms that can cause disease. This is accomplished through a variety of mechanisms. For example, the breakdown of food by L. acidophilus leads to production of lactic acid, hydrogen peroxide, and other byproducts that make the environment hostile for undesired organisms. L. acidophilus also produces lactase, the enzyme that breaks down milk sugar (lactose) into simple sugars. People who are lactose intolerant do not produce this enzyme. For this reason, L. acidophilus supplements may be beneficial for these individuals.
Lactobacillus Bulgaricus (10%): L. bulgaricus is recommended for overall support of the friendly bacteria, enhanced digestibility of milk products and other proteins, production of natural antibiotic substances, inhibition of undesirable organisms, maximum effectiveness of waste disposal, colon cleaning without disrupting friendly bacteria, and effective immune enhancement. This important microorganism has been extremely well researched by many recognised scientists and has proven to be an extremely beneficial addition to the body. Researchers have established that L. bulgaricus synthesises a natural antibiotic substance that has a wide spectrum of activity. It has been used successfully for many years by Bulgarian doctors to treat such gastrointestinal disorders as enterocolitis.
Bifidobacterium Bifidum (5%): Bifidobacteria are friendly bacteria, colonising mainly the large intestine, or colon. Bifidobacteria are considered extremely important to the health of the gastrointestinal tract. The bifidobacteria have been used to address intestinal disorders, and boost the immune system. These strains are also important for the production of B vitamins. Bifidobacterium bifidum is especially good at enhancing the body’s immune response and inhibiting harmful enzymes.
Streptococcus thermophilus (5%): S. thermophilus has an important role as a probiotic, alleviating symptoms of lactose intolerance and other gastrointestinal disorders.
