Protocontrol Safety Switches

Protocontrol offers a variety of safety devices like pull cord switch, belt sway switch in special corrosion resistance frp dmc enclosure. These switches find application in chemical, fertilizer plants and near sea shore use. Dmc enclosure is specially recommended where cast al or cast iron enclosure gets corroded.
pull cord switch: it is a rope operated emergency switch. It is provided with operating handle fitted with spring steel rings at both ends for fixing the rope. Pull cord switch is mounted on the walkway side of conveyer belt, preferably at about every 20 meters length. Rope is tied to the end rings of the handle. When the rope is pulled from any side, the switch is operated. The switch in the operated condition until and unless it is manually brought to normal position.
belt- sway switch: this switch allows smooth running of the conveyer and protects it from damages by over swaying which can occur due to uneven loading of material, worn out idler roller bearings etc. The belt sway is generally mounted on both sides and near the edge of conveyer belt. A small gap is provided between contact roller and the belt edge to allow normal running of the belt with acceptable tolerance. When swaying exceeds normal limit, the belt edge pushes the contact roller, which drives the switch and operates the contacts. Switch resets automatically when the belt resumes normal running.

heavy duty limit switch : used to send end position of heavy machinery. Provided with roller lever or v lever. Available in toggle mechanism or auto reset mechanism.
damaged belt detector: gives early warning of belt damage. Available in rope type or infrared type.
