Sheets can be difficult and expensive, because the high melting temperature, 327 Degree C (621 Degree F), is above the initial decomposition temperature, 200 Degree C (392 Degree F). Even when melted, PTFE (Teflon) Plates does not flow, but instead behaves as a gel. Here, fine powdered PTFE (Teflon) Coils are forced into a mould under high pressure.
