EGC’s insulated PTFE tape offers excellent sealing properties where high temperature or chemical resistance is needed in electrical applications. Applications include cable insulation, flight actuators, landing gear, and braking systems.
It is resistant to oils, chemicals, water, solvents, and gases and can be manufactured in a variety of colors:
Natural
Standard White
High Contrast White (laser markable)
Gray (laser markable)
Our capabilities are diverse and are designed to meet a wide range of requirements. We manufacture tape in thicknesses starting at 0.0025'' (0.064 mm) and widths from 316" to 11-12" (4.7 to 292.1 mm). Product is delivered in rolls that can be packaged as either pancake or traverse-wound, depending on the slit width.
