A pulse jet dust collector uses short, high-velocity bursts of compressed air to clean filter bags or cartridges, trapping dust particles. The dust-laden air is drawn into the collector, where the dust is trapped on the outer surface of the filter media. When the filter media becomes clogged, a pulse of compressed air is released, dislodging the dust cake and allowing it to fall into a hopper for removal
