Pump Shaft Quality – Rotational applications require the highest degree of straightness. This is in order to minimize vibration throughout the length of the bar. Elevated straightness also inherently allows for a rounder bar, and tighter diameter tolerances.
RGM Pump Shaft Quality bar is more than 8 times straighter than industry standards (ASTM A108), with straightness readings of 0.0015” T.I.RFT max.
With the precision straightness, and tight diameter tolerance, PSQ shafting requires careful consideration to both packaging and handling. RGM PSQ comes packaged in wooden boxes to ensure the delivery of straight, round bars to each and every customer.
