Purification Of Water Caustic Soda, Brand Name : SQ-CS

We have Purification of Water Caustic Soda. Sodium Hydroxide is a highly corrosive white crystal in normal temperature. It is also called Caustic Soda. It is soluble in water and its water solution is of strong basicity, which can make Phenolphthalein become red. It is a very common alkali and a necessary chemical in lab. It can absorb the water vapor of the air, therefore, it should be sealed by the rubber bottle stopper.
Product Feature
The pure solid caustic soda is white. Its shape can be block, sheet, clavate or granulous. The liquid caustic soda is white or light blue transparency liquid. The solid caustic soda is of strong hygroscopicity. It is soluble in water, ethanol and glycerol but not soluble in acetone and ethyl ether. When dissolved in the water, it will release heat. Its water solution is alkali and soapy.
Application
1. Used as wastewater treatment agents and basic analytical reagents
2. To make standard lye for analysis and CO2 and H2O adsorbent.
3. Acid neutralization, Sodium salt manufacturing
4. To make other reagents containing hydroxyl ions
5. Used in petroleum refining to remove sulfides of hydrogen sulfide and mercaptan.
6. Paper making and soap making
7. Used in Textile manufacturing as a raw material of viscose
8. Used in dyeing and finishing to remove wax, oil and starch.
9. Improving acidic soil
10. Processing bauxite in metallurgy industry.
11. Used to make metallic sodium and brine electrolysis in chemical industry.

Caustic Soda flakes: pp woven bag outside and polyethylene film bag inside; 25 kg net weight for each bag.
Liquid caustic soda: Both steel tank car or steel tank is ok. High pure alkali ionic membrane shouldn’t be packed and delivered by Stainless steel tank.
Storage
1. Stored in a dry, ventilate warehouse.
2. Never deposit it together with acidic materials and inflammable.
