CCI introduced PVC cables in India for the first time in the year 1960 and as on date has become the most common insulation in use. Suitable for operating temperature upto 70 deg. C. Though CCI has developed these cables for operation upto 11 kV grade, presently being used upto 3.3 kv grade cables. All the above cables are available in standard PVC outer sheath & special outer sheath with FRLS & FR properties.
