• Cores : Red, Black, Yellow, Blue or Natural (non-pigmented)
• Core : Red, Yellow, Blue & Black (Reduced Neutral Core in case of 3 ½ Core)
• Cores : Red, Yellow, Blue, Black & Grey
• If cores are more than five, then two adjoining cores (counting and direction cores) are colored Blue, Yellow and others are grey or the cores are identified by numbers printed in same color

• Laying : As per color scheme and the scheme is at right hand
• Inner Sheath : Placed over laid up of cores by wrapping or extrusion of thermoplastic material
• Outer Sheath : PVC Compound over Armoring (Armoured Cable) or over Inner Sheath (Unarmoured Cable)
