Quenching Oils

Best Quench Oils are formulated with selected low sulphur base stocks having excellent oxidation and thermal stability high fluidity and low volatility high flash and fire points.
Best Quench 39 is a blend of refined base oils. This is recommended for general purpose quenching of components and is particularly suitable for quenching of cyanide parts. This meets the requirements of BIS 2664 straight mineral type.

Best Quench 42 is a blend of refined petroleum oils and high quality fatty oils. This has good wetting characteristics and has a higher quenching speed compared to BEST QUENCH 39. It meets the requirements of BIS 2664 compounded type. The oil is suitable for hardening of variety of high speed tool steel and ball bearings.

Best Quench 43 is an additive type of quenching oil with good dispersant characteristics and has excellent heat transfer properties. It meets the standard of BIS 2664 additive type. The oil is recommended for general purpose fast quenching applications. The oil can be used for quenching of components after nitriding.

Best Quench 85 is mar quenching oil suitable for maintaing the Quenching bath at 1500C to 2200C. It is recommended for the mass production of high processions, high quality product. It gives low and predictable quench distortions. It needs the requirement of IS 4543
