QUENCHPLUS – 55 PRODUCTS DESCRIPTION Quenchplus 55 is blended from specially selected lube oil base stocks with inherent oxidation and thermal stability having high viscosity index, fluidity and low volatility. Quenchplus - 55 is a straight mineral type oil processing normal quenching characteristics. APPLICATIONS Quenchplus 55 is recommended for all normal quenching operations on variety of steels to impart desired hardness to components without distortions. It is advisable that oil-bath temperature is maintained at optimal level for best quenching performance and long service life. The recommended oil-bath temperature of 50 ºC - 65 ºC will meet most of quenching requirements. Quenchplus 55 is suitable for hardening of nuts, bolts, bearings and other components manufactured by automotive and light engineering industries.
