Quicklime

Calcium Quicklime, manufactured by our company, is formed by calcining calcium carbonate for liberating carbon dioxide. Quicklime is available in two forms Dolomitic Quicklime and Burnt Quicklime. It is a whitish, odorless alkaline substance that is insoluble in water and its chemical formula is CaO. Quick lime is extensively used in industries like metal smelting, neutralization of sulphur in sugar; paper bleaching, etc. It is also used in water treatment plants such as softening and can be used a lining material. This product is manufactured by calcining or controlled heating of limestones at temperature above 900°C.
