The Radial Fibre is an advanced optical fibre designed for minimally invasive laser treatment of varicose veins. Unlike bare fibres (forward emission) or conical fibres (angled emission), the radial fibre emits laser energy in a 360° circumferential pattern around the vein wall.
This uniform radial energy distribution ensures safe and effective vein closure, significantly reducing risks of perforation, carbonization, and post-operative complications. It is widely regarded as the gold standard fibre for EVLT due to its high success rate and superior patient comfort.
