The POT 3290 Railroad engine oil additive package is the generation 3 railroad engine oil additive package approved by railway departments. It is prepared from high quality additive components such as detergents, dispersants, antioxidant and corrosion inhibitors, and antiwear agent, etc. It possesses fine properties of detergency, dispersion, antiwear, and antioxidation, preventing from the formation of deposit and lacquer film. It can fulfill the requirements of railway engine in harsh conditions, provides safeguard for a long time, and has got favorable comments.
The POT 3290 Railroad engine oil additives are designed to prevent destructive wear as well as to ensure the oil’s performance in powerful locomotive engines under even the most severe operating conditions.

Suggested Dosage:

It is recommended to add 10.5% POT 3290 additive package into base oils II,III & IV to formulate the generation 3 railroad engine oil.
Storage And Transportation:

The requirements of SH/T0164 should be met during the storage, handling and blending. The maximum temperature should not exceed 75^oC. The ambient temperature for long term storage should not exceed 45^oC. it is non-flammable, non-explosive. 
The precautions in safely, environment control and application are the same as those of common petroleum products, having no need of special protection.
Packing:

The product is packed in 200 litre metal drum, with the net weight at 180 kg per drum or in bulk.
