Rain Gauges

The Non-Recording Rain Gauge is a standard instrument used for the manual measurement of rainfall in meteorological and hydrological studies. Designed as per IS: 5225 (1969), this rain gauge consists of a collector, base, and a graduated measuring cylinder that allows accurate quantification of rainfall in millimeters.

Constructed from durable FRP or mild steel with a gunmetal locking ring, it ensures longevity and corrosion resistance even under outdoor environmental conditions. The instrument is simple to operate — rainfall collected in the funnel-shaped collector is transferred into the measuring cylinder for reading.
