Raisins, Shelf Life : 12 Months

A Raisin is a dried grape. Raisins are produced in many regions of the world and may be eaten raw or used in cooking, baking and brewing. Raisins are composed of important food elements such as sugars, fruit acids and mineral salts. Raisins are processed by sun drying and tray drying several different types of grapes. Mango fruit is utilized at all stages of its development both in its immature and mature state. Raw fruits are used for making chutney, pickles and juices. The ripe fruits besides being used for desert are also utilized for preparing several products like squashes, syrups, nectars, jams and jellies.
