Ranthambhore national park is a prime tiger habitat in india. The park lies strategically between the vindhyas and the aravallis; two major hill ranges.

Because the forest is interspersed with ruins of historic monuments, the ranthambhore national park is one of the most picturesque parks in india. An impressive feature of the park is ranthambhore fort, located at the fringes of the park and providing an excellent bird’s eye view of the entire forest below.

1,334 sq. Kilometers of scrub forest and deciduous forest spread over the area with the majority of the wildlife concentrated around three major lakes. The rajabagh talao, padam talao, and malik talao are all man- made lakes that carry water even during the peak of the hottest season.

The diverse forests and flora support a large number of animals including a variety of deer, the sloth bear, the shy caracal, snub-nosed crocodiles, the striped hyena, wild boar, panthers, leopards, and of course the “big cat”—the tiger.

Enjoy an evening wildlife safari into the park. Later on, watch an informative slide show about the wildlife park with a naturalist. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: ranthambhore – jaipur

enjoy a wildlife safari into the park in the morning. After your morning safari, visit the jungle fort at ranthambhore.
