Rantac Injection

Ranitidine 50mg injection is used in the treatment of acidity, heartburn, intestinal ulcers and stomach ulcers.

COMPOSITION FOR RANITIDINE 50MG INJECTION : Ranitidine(50mg)

FOOD INTERACTION FOR RANITIDINE INJECTION : It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Ranitidine 50mg injection at a fixed time.

How ranitidine injection works : Ranitidine 50mg injection lowers the acid production in the stomach.

Common side effects of ranitidine injection

• Fatigue,
• Drowsiness,
• Headache,
• Constipation,
• Diarrhoea,
• Muscle pain

ALCOHOL INTERACTION FOR RANITIDINE INJECTION : Alcohol use can increase acid secretion, acid reflux in food pipe causing heartburn and decreasing effect of this drug. Ranitidine 50mg injection can also decrease alcohol breakdown and increase its level in blood.

PREGNANCY INTERACTION FOR RANITIDINE INJECTION : Ranitidine 50mg injection is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

LACTATION INTERACTION FOR RANITIDINE INJECTION : Ranitidine 50mg injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor.
