Rape Seed

Rapeseed (Brassica napus), also known as rape, oilseed rape, rapa, rappi, rapaseed (and, in the case of one particular group of cultivars, canola), is a bright-yellow flowering member of the family Brassicaceae (mustard or cabbage family), consumed in China as a vegetable.
Rapeseed (or canola) oil at low content of erucic acid is used as oil for foodstuff since XIX century. It’s a particularly digestible oil rich in polyunsaturated fats; it contents Ω3 and Ω6, fat acids, as linoleic and linolenic, said “essential” because they are necessaries for the proper functioning of our body which is not able to synthetize them.
Particularly appreciate is our virgin oil because of the soft and delicate taste which makes it particularly suitable for seasoning of vegetables, salads or grilled meat and fish.
