Real Time PCR Kits

Chikungunya virus is an arbovirus of the genus Alphavirus that is transmitted to humans by Aedes Mosquitoes. The In-Vitro qualitative test is designed for identification of General and Indian Ocean strain of Chikungunya virus through Real-Time PCR. The method is designed to identify NSP1 gene sequence of Chikungunya virus genome through specific probes. RNA extraction is done with High Pure System Viral Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit, Mfd by Roche, based on Qia Amp technology from Qiagen. The Real-Time PCR machine used is Roche Light cycler 480-II USFDA IVD platform. The detection is done with Roche’s Real Time Ready Virus Master and Probe primer designed by TIB Mol Bio.
