Reamers

Sierra Diamond Technology manufactures two styles of reamers, an “A” and “B” in metal and resin bond.
The “A” style reamer has a straight shank with the diamond section slightly larger for clearance when reaming.
The “B” style reamer typically has a larger shank that tapers down or has an undercut to a specified size and drill depth. The diamond section is slightly larger for clearance when reaming.
Due to our manufacturing design, our bonded reamers should be used to open up a preexisting hole or pocket and are not intended for side grinding. We limit the size of our reamers from .025" to .250" OD.
Our side grinding diamond and CBN tools are called DW style wheels which can be manufactured in sizes ranging from 18" to 4.5" O.D.
