Reciprocating Air Compressors

Reciprocating compressors are generally known as piston compressors. A reciprocating air compressor is a good displacement compressor that makes use of a crankshaft-driven piston and cylinder to compress the air. A two-stage compressor contains an extra step where the air is compacted by a second, smaller sized piston to a pressure of up to 175 PSI.
