This aromatic journey began more than 25 years ago in the Indian port city of Cochin as a small family business catering to a domestic clientele. Over the years, with the opening up of the Indian economy and a changing business environment, Bafna Enterprises set its sights on a growing international market. Today, we have become one of India’s largest exporters of spices due to a single minded focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Bafna has a state-of-the-art processing plant located in Cochin. A few salient features of the plant are:
• Total automation thereby keeping human element to a minimum.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is followed on the floor.
• Capable of handling all kinds of tropical and seeds spices.
• Ethylene Oxide treatment & steam sterilization procedures done through an ISO 9001 strategic agent.
• World class magnets at all critical points.
• End-of-the-line metal detection to eliminate ferrous or non-ferrous contamination.
The plant has an annual processing capacity of 7500 MT with a per shift capacity of 15 MT whole & 10MT ground spices.
