Redispersible Powders

VAE-265 is a non-plasticized aqueous milky white Vinyl Acetate-Ethylene -Acrylate terpolymer emlision with a high solid content of 65%. After drying, a water-resistant, clear and very flexible film is formed, exhibiting best stability against degradation discoloration by UV-light, oxygen and even ozone. Because of the adjusted very high ethylene content (Tg~ -25 degree celsius), this film is extremely tacky and uses no plasticizers to get the softness and flexibility. As a reslit, it shows no phenomenon such as migration of plasticizers out of externally plasticized polymers (like PVC) in contact. All these properties make VAE-265 an ideal raw material for all kind of adhesives, especially products where an extremely high dry tack is necessary. From the viewpoint of industrial applications, the compatibility of raw materials is considered important to manufacturers. Compatibility with different plasticizers, solvents and extenders is generally good, although this has to be checked in each individual case of course.
