Refractory Cement

Refractory cement, Maithan’s calcium aluminate range is a family of sophisticated hydraulic refractory binders manufactured at a dedicated production facility in India. These products are designed for use in high technology monolithic refractories for demanding applications. They are characterized by rapid hardening, superior corrosion resistance and excellent thermo-mechanical performance.
Lumicem is a 45% alumina cement, ideally suitable for making conventional and insulating castables. It has a high CA content and fineness of 3000 blaine and upwards. This results in a refractory concrete with rapid hardening, high strength and abrasion resistance. Lumicem based monolithics are suitable for casting as well as gunning.
