Ivermectin Tablets

REMOVER-12 is a treatment of COVID-19. It may reduce the duration of illness. Ivermectin, an FDA approved anti-parasitic agent, was found to be an inhibitor of SARS-CoV-2 replication in the laboratory. Ivermectin, a popular anti-parasitic agent, acts on SARS-CoV-2 by preventing viral proteins from entering the host cell nucleus.

Mechanism of Action :
Ivermectin induces inhibition of importin α/β mediated coronavirus proteins transport. It mimics the cNLS i.e. classical Nuclear Localization Signal. In general, proteins found in cytoplasm are marked with cNLS.
Here Ivermectin starts functioning by:

• First, Ivermectin mimics cNLS and then binds to Importin A.
• Identifying by Importin A (Adaptor Protein).
• This labeled protein is linked to importin B (Nuclear transport protein).
• Second, Ivermectin binds directly to Importin B.
• The cargo protein is transmitted to nucleus.
