In the packaging industry, it can be the waste generated from the manufacturing of tapes, fabrics or bags and other related products. Often in the manufacturing process, a large amount of waste is produced, and reprocessing them into granules is a great option. These granules are then again used by certain industries. At Knack, we mainly reprocess the PP granules which cater to the need of the injection moulding industry, which makes products for household use, automobile parts etc.

Manufacturing Process

In the manufacturing process, our advanced reprocessing unit ensures quality output which always remains our priority. First, we collect the waste materials from our other manufacturing departments like the rotogravure printing press, lamination, finishing and it is crushed into the grinder machine. Then, with the help of conveyor belts, it is moved to the reprocessing unit where it converts into the melt. The melt comes to the screen changer, which further proceeds towards the adapter and goes to another section. Here the cutters fit into the machine and start working, and with the help of water, the melt converts into our final product, which is Reprocessed Granules.
