Retail ready packaging (RRP) and shelf ready packaging (SRP) have been developed to get products from case to shelf in one smooth movement rather than decanting single units. SRP primarily considers the shelf replenishment requirements. RRP takes a more holistic approach and considers both shelf replenishment and supply chain requirements, as well as the interaction with the shopper whilst on the shelf.
