The shaft mounted bevel speed reducer is a compact speed reducer which offers right-angled input output combination thereby eliminating the need of a pulley.Â
It is a two stage helical – bevel speed reducer with hardened and ground helical gears and spiral bevel gears of suitable steel alloys. The speed reducer is currently manufactured in 4 sizes i.e. D, F, G & J
These gearboxes are found to be more suitable for conveyor on mobile machines as they are compact and chances of misalignment are rare.
