Ripple Tank

RIPPLE TANK To illustrate the laws, which govern all wave phenomenon-using ripples on the surface of water as the prototypes of all transverse waves. Ripple tank illustrates important wave motions like rectilinear and circular. It can also demonstrate refraction, diffraction and interference of water waves. Tank is supported by four legs having levelling screws. Size of the tank is 580 x 500 x 70 mm supplied complete with rippler assembly, two straight obstacles 130 mm long, one straight obstacle 40 mm long, curved reflector 200 mm radius, transparent refraction plate, wooden wave roller, one pack of rubber bands, water dropper, sponge, illuminator and power supply.
