• AZUL SARS-CoV-2 RNA Extraction Kit offers a straightforward and highly efficient solution for extracting total RNA from SARS-CoV-2 virus particles present in Viral Transport Medium (VTM) or molecular transport medium (MTM) obtained from COVID-19 positive patients via throat/nasopharyngeal swabs. This kit uses a silica-based spin column technology for isolating RNA from biological samples, thereby eliminating toxic phenol-chloroform extractions. The eluted RNA is suitable for a wide range of molecular biology applications, including semi-quantitative PCR and real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) analysis.
