Rod Seals

rod seals are used depending on the design of the hydraulic cylinder and the guide characteristics, on the non-pressure side of the seal, there may be gaps into which the seal can move under pressure resulting in its destruction. The gap dimension should be calculated very precisely and should not exceed in any case. There are two base types of seal housing - axially accessible in open seal housing and close seal housing in the form of a groove recessed in the cylinder. 
axially accessible seal housing are required for seals consisting of several seal rings. To achieve optimum sealing, these seals must be tight axially for installation reason and open seal housing are required only for small diameter.
