The Torrey S. Crane Co. services a wide range of industries with our foil and tape solders including customers in plating, nuclearradiation shielding, medical, heating and cooling, as well as radiator and battery manufacturing. Torrey S. Crane solders are manufactured using only Grade “A” virgin raw materials. By utilizing inert atmospheric melting and vacuum extrusion, we produce the highest quality foils and tapes that are free of dross and trapped gases. Implementation of rigid Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques and continuous contact measurement assures consistently high quality material that is uniform from lot to lot. We produce material that meets or exceeds your demanding specifications. A Crane specialty, we offer extruded and rolled foils from 0.0006″ to 0.375″ thick in widths from 0.060″ to 24.00″. Our unique rolling process allows us to furnish material free of all rolling lubricants. Standard coils with 3″ or 6″ I.D. are available in coil weights up to 100 lbs. per inch of width. Special 12″ flanged spools are also available. Custom coil I.D. and cores are available upon request.
