Roof Guard Waterproofing & Leakage Arresting Coating

Roof Guard, an innovative water proofing/leak arresting 2part compound, is formulated by us after thorough research and field testing. Roof Guard acts as Leak arresting coating. The active chemical components (including imported UV protecting chemicals) in Roof Guard yield a flexible water proof coating. Roof Guard acts like a shield and by its ability to penetrate into micro pores of the substrate thereby reducing the chance of Roof Leakage and lasts long. Roof Guard is a mixture of high grade acrylic resin and specially graded and selected additives. It dries by evaporation to yield a tough, flexible, non yellowing abrasion resistive and water repellent surface. It can be applied on all surfaces such as Concrete and Cementitious surfaces-Roofs & Walls. 

Areas of Application  

Building roofs / terraces — Flat & Sloping and Exterior Walls of Made of Cementitious materials, Concrete, etc. 

Method of Application 

Surface Preparation: On Concrete Roof or ordinary walls, surface must be free from dust, loose material, paint, oil, or any material which may impair adhesion. Mechanical means such as wire brushing can be used. Finally vacuum cleaning of all loose solids and liquids can be done if required. All surface cracks should be made wide at the surface and wet the surface of the crack with hardener by paint brush before applying Crack Sealant in a thick paste form. Apply three coats of Roof Guard after proper mixing and dilution with water by brush at an interval of 2-3 hours between each coat. Allow the coated surface to air cure for 3 days 

MAINTENANCE & RE-COATING OF Roof Guard Over a period of time or some years,of Roof Guard on exposure to weathering or extreme temperature variations, it is extremely easy to re-coat over it again, only one coat of application of Roof Guard is enough to extend the life for another couple of years POST APPLICATION MAINTENANCE Clean the surface once in a month with water; Do not Dump any materials on the surface Precautions & Limitations All corners, gaps, joints, protrusions & outlets shall be coated with two extra coats. Do not apply during rains; substrate must be in SSD condition for application of first coat. The product is designed only for foot traffic and not vehicular or movement of machinery or equipment. Do not apply Roof Guard over expansion or moving joints To achieve the full proof waterproofing, parapet walls should be covered with Roof Guard Never Over dilute Roof Guard with water for ease of application

Skin Contact: Wash skin with soap & water. remove contaminated clothes. On eye contact: immediately splash eyes with plenty of water. Consult Physician if irritation persists. Ingestion: not induce vomiting. never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a Physician.
